Does everyone cheat?

Is it possible to be completely faithful in a relationship? Once you’ve crossed the line, does the statement- “once a cheater, always a cheater” apply? Growing up, I remember listening to church sermons about how adultery is a sin even if it’s only in your thoughts. If this is true, are we to assume that at some point we’ve all cheated?
Another interesting point, is there a cheating curve? What exactly constitutes cheating? Do thoughts, a kiss, a mere touch, or emotional tie with another person cheating? Is cheating only when you have a sexual relationship? Are you cheating only if you are married? Is cheating ever justified, or is it a mere act of selfishness? I’d like to know what you think.
