What’s the Worst That Can Happen?

Many times, we unknowingly attract negativity into our lives through our thoughts. We dwell, worry, and ruminate and often, before we know it, the very things we feared come to pass. It could be an illness, an unexpected change in our personal or professional life, or challenges in relationships.

Our thoughts are more powerful than we often realize. They send out energy into the universe, and the universe responds.

The law of attraction is the principle that “like attracts like.” By focusing on positive or negative thoughts, we can bring about corresponding outcomes. This idea is rooted in the belief that both people and their thoughts are made of “pure energy,” and that similar energies attract one another.

I’ve seen this play out in my own life. After working from home for almost three years, I often worried I would be required to return to the office. Sure enough, it happened, I’m now expected to be in the office three days a week. While working from home had its challenges, going back to the office has proven far more difficult.

This is just one example of how negative thoughts can manifest. The lesson? Stop focusing on what you don’t want. Instead, direct your attention to what you do want. Positive or negative, the universe responds to your thoughts. By consciously choosing them, you can attract the outcomes you hope for.
