Best makeup-removing products

I’ve tried many makeup-removing products over the years, and many I’ve not repurchased. Most cleansing wipes have scents that are too overwhelming for me, leave an oily feeling on my skin even after washing off completely or just don’t do a good job at removing all the makeup. Now I can finally say I’ve found three products that I will continue to purchase over and over.

For the face: Olay 4-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths. In each pack, you get about 33 cloths for about 6 bucks. Some may consider this a bit pricey compared with a liquid cleanser, which could last longer, but if you’re like me, you won’t need a second product to remove the makeup left behind by most cleansers. After wetting it, each cloth produces enough lather for your entire face, neck and décolleté. It cleanses, exfoliates and moisturizes your skin leaving a soft, hydrating feeling. It doesn’t irritate your eyes, so you can gently scrub them to remove the most stubborn mascara. You don’t even need to use an eye makeup remover first if you don’t want to.

For the eyes: jojoba or coconut oil. If you already have a cleanser you swear by, then a great alternative for an eye makeup-remover is jojoba or coconut oil. They remove all eye makeup with ease, and you will love their anti-aging benefits as well. Coconut oil is known to help grow lashes and eyebrows, so that’s an added bonus. The only downside compared with the Olay cleansing cloths I mentioned above is that you need a second cleanser to remove the oil left behind.
